Now Hiring Huff Run AmeriCorps Member
Rural Action and Huff Run are hiring an Education and Outreach AmeriCorps member to work at the Huff Run office. The member will start August 10, 2011 and serve through August 9, 2012. The deadline for applying is July 9, 2011. You must apply on the AmeriCorps website. Interviews will held be on a rolling basis.
This position will work with our Environmental Explorers Club, organize our Awareness Day field trips, conduct water sampling and more. The member will serve 1700 hours over 12 months. A stipend of $950 will be supplied each month and an additional $5,550 education award will be provided at the end of the completed term. AmeriCorps members can serve up to two years each. Health insurance is provided.

Our next Huff Run meeting will be January 17, 2012 at the Huff Run Office in Mineral City at 5:30pm. Join us. Please note that we will not have a December 2011 meeting.
