Awards

The Huff Run Watershed Restoration Partnership has been honored with many awards.


The Office of Surface Mining honored the Huff Run Watershed Restoration Partnership and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Mineral Resources Management with their Abandoned Mine Land Reclamation Award for the Appalachian Region for the Belden Project in 2009.
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Mineral Resources Management recognized the Huff Run Watershed Restoration Partnership with its Excellence in Abandoned Mine Land Reclamation for the Belden Restoration Project in 2008.
Crossroads RC&D presented the Huff Run Watershed Restoration Project with its Project of the Year award in 2007.
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Mineral Resources Management presented the Huff Run Watershed Restoration Partnership with its Minerals Education Award for the Lyons Restoration Project in 2006.
  The Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Mineral Resources Management awarded the Huff Run Watershed Restoration Partnership with its Minerals Education Award for Huff Run’s ongoing Awareness Day field trips for local schools and home school groups in 2006.
  The Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Mineral Resources Management gave the Huff Run Watershed Restoration Partnership with its Excellence in Abandoned Mine Land Reclamation for the Linden Bioremediation Project in 2004.
