Harsha South

		Harsha South is ranked the highest of all the problem areas in Huff Run. The area has unreclaimed surface mining, exposed coal waste and abandoned mining facilities along with AMD discharges. Monitor wells have been established for further study. Drilling studies have concluded that there is extensive fracturing in underlying rock and soil. Restoration plans for this site are tough to create and are in the process.
